Some Final Preparations Before the Reburial on 27 July 2011.

The State of Sarawak is doing its utmost to ensure that Iban traditions and ancient rites are adhered to in bringing the remains of the Iban Trackers and Sarawak Rangers home to Sarawak and rebury them in the Heroes' Graves in Kuching on 27 July 2011.

Here is the latest report from The Borneo Post daily.

These are the little jars where the remains will be kept in.

  2. CY,

Thanks. I have been invited to attend the reburial ceremony on 27 July 2011. Being the prime mover of the project, I have been invited to give the first speech which I gladly accept. There are a lot of things I wanted to tell Sarawakians. I also have written a poem dedicated to these brave warriors, which I would like to read at the end of my speech.

  9. Sir, as an Old Boy from Boys Wing, RMC, i have always attached myself to malaysia's history, especially the army. there are no higher hero than soldiers who fought and died for my country, and for that i thank you. honestly, i only knew about ops mai pulai from reading utusan online (i've been overseas for more than 8 years). anyway, i can't thank you enough for your military service and courageous effort to defend Malaysia, and for your effort in making Ops Mai Pulai a reality. I'm no Sarawakian, but I'm Malaysian. Anyone who protect and defend my country will always have my utmost respect and gratitude. keep up the good work.

  13. Salam Tuan,
